Garden Refresh

We recently had the pleasure of giving a little garden at Waikanae Funeral Home a much-needed refresh, and the results are something we’re really proud of. The project began with removing a big stand of bamboo – a job that kept us busy but also quite fun!
Once cleared, we built up the soil base and enriched it with compost to ensure the new plants would have the best possible start.
To make sure the garden stays healthy and vibrant all year round, we installed a simple but effective watering system, providing consistent care without extra effort. Finally, we planted a fresh selection of plants chosen to bring colour, texture, and calm to the space.
It’s always rewarding to transform a tired garden into something welcoming and full of life. We hope everyone visiting the Funeral Home enjoys the new garden as much as we enjoyed creating it.
